What is the chi^2 test?

Objective:

Students will understand how to use the chi² test.

Agenda:

1.  Lesson:
     Show students how to divide data into groups.  Show students how to calculate the expected values from the observed values.  Show a few examples. Show how we can take the expected values and the observed values and calculate this quantity known as the Chi² value.  Show a couple of examples.  Show how to compare the calculated value and the critical value and therefore draw a conclusion.
