Persepolis - Feedback (April 29th)

I commented on Ivy's blog discussing how a mirror in one of the panels is a symbol for reflecting.  Ivy believed that when Marji is looking in the mirror after her grandmother becomes angry with her (which never happens and shocks Marji) she is reflecting, much like the mirror is reflecting Marji's image.  I hadn't thought of this before and thought this was a really interesting point and I completely agree with Ivy's theory.  Also, because this is the end of the book, I believe Marji is finally reflecting on the moment with her grandmother and all of her life so far.  I think this is when Marji finally grows up.
